The HEADU "Réactions et Transformations" (Reactions and Transformations) is a STEM-focused science kit designed for older children, typically between the ages of 8 and 12. Unlike the early-learning puzzles we discussed, this kit is a hands-on chemistry lab that introduces children to the scientific method and the properties of matter.
What’s Inside the Kit?
The set provides "real" laboratory tools and safe chemical substances to conduct experiments:
- Chemical Substances: Sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, and copper sulfate.
- Natural Indicators: Black beans (used to create a natural pH indicator).
- Lab Equipment: Test tubes, a measuring beaker (60ml), a wooden spatula, and litmus paper strips.
- The Periodic Bingo (Tombola): A game to help children familiarize themselves with the chemical elements of the Periodic Table.

- If your items are available in store, you can collect your order in as little as 30 minutes.
- Items that are not available in store will take 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to be delivered to your nominated store.
- Monday to Saturday during opening times.
- You will be notified by email when your order is ready to collect from your chosen store
